Great mounting clip! |

Okay, it might seem funny to be writing a review of a simple kydex clip, but here goes! When I bought my K1 mag carrier I got the belt slide version. This works well but it's kind of a pain to have to take my belt off to thread and unthread it, something that didn't occur to me when I ordered it.
Well, I ordered the clip and mounted it in place of the slide. That's one of the many virtues of Ron's products- flexibility and modularity! It took about 30 seconds to convert if from the slide to the clip, and if I want to go back it's a cinch to do.
The Garrett clip is quite a clever bit of engineering. The curvature gives it a bit more surface contact with the belt and helps it to clap very securely. I was initially worried that it might come off my belt with the mag; that's the reason I initially bought the slide version. Well, that fear was unfounded. It's so secure that I'll probably never go back to regular loops/slides.
